The CEO of ELES collaborated at the round table entitled "Energy Challenges of Companies"

On Friday, 10 November 2017, the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana hosted the conference En.ekonomika & industrija 017.

The round table entitled "Energy Challenges of Companies and Slovenia's Energy Concept" was attended by Karlo Kraus (RWE), Danijel Levičar (GEN-I), Rafko Atelšek (Impol) and mag. Aleksander Mervar, the CEO of ELES.

As the CEO of ELES, mag. Aleksander Mervar said, every industry considers the conditions that are stipulated by someone else. In this case this is the EU. According to Mervar, we have to be aware that what is waiting for us, at least during the transitional period, will not lower the prices of electricity. He also warned that the goals, determined in the Energy Concept – climate acceptability, the reliability of supply and competitiveness, are contradictory in this transitional period. Among the EU countries, Slovenia ranks among the first third of countries according to RES share, and we should be proud of this fact.
