New Slovenia – Austria Intraday Capacity Access Rules

We would like to inform market participants that ELES and APG received an approval of the new Slovenia – Austria Intraday Capacity Access Rules from respective national regulatory authorities. Change of the Rules was needed due to the change in the process of intraday ATC calculation where, according to the new set of Rules, netting of schedules is applied after each successful matching of intraday schedules. According to the old Rules the netting of schedules was done only after successful matching of day ahead schedules. Main aim of the introduced change is to increase even more the level of intraday capacity available to the market participants. New Rules shall become valid from 1st January 2012.

All participants already registered for the intraday allocation process for 2011 are only requested to send the new Statement of Acceptance via fax to the number +386 1 474 2652 and original by post.  All other participants are kindly requested to follow participation requirements as stated in the Rules.
